Welcome to the season-opening edition of The List, in which I’ll rank the top 25 college teams in the country. This first installment will be a subjective ranking and the only one until after the holidays. After the first of the year, The List will be return to being a weekly feature and I will be creating our rankings primarily by using our own Ken Pomeroy’s Pomeroy Rankings as a barometer to judge teams along with Jerry Palm’s RPI rankings, Jeff Sagarin’s USA Today computer rankings, Kyle Whelliston’s Basketball State computer ratings and Team Rankings ratings.
